It was eggs, flour, lights, camera, action! at the recent Foodservice Australia 2012, held at The Royal Hall of Industries.
One of Australia’s most exciting new trade events, Foodservice Australia ran from May 27-29 and featured more than 120 exhibitors showcasing the latest food, drink and equipment.
The three-day trade only event for restaurateurs, caterers and bakers brought buyers and suppliers under one roof and provided a great opportunity to discover new ideas, products and suppliers.
Show highlights included the appearance of Grand Finalists Nic and Rocco from the popular My Kitchen Rules TV show on the Kraft stand cooking up some mouth-watering sweet treats.
Over at the Global Pizza Challenge, the amazing Italian pizza stunt master duo from the Italian national acrobatic pizza team performed some amazing tricks that made pizza dough look like flying saucers. And in the sweets corner were some tantalising treats made by finalists of the World Chocolate Masters.
Comcater & Rational Australia also put on a great show with their live and interactive stand which featured the all-new SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency and Tecnomac’s great range of blast chillers and freezer solutions. For the first time ever, Tecnomac blast chillers/freezers were featured on the Rational stand, with bakery owners able to speak to a Rational chef in person about the new units.
