The Hunter Valley Gardens will transform into a chocolate lovers paradise from July 7-8 with the annual Chocolate Festival taking place. Lap up the luxurious selection of all things sweet and watch world-class chocolatiers dazzle audiences with their decadent chocolate creations.

Celebrity chef Ed Halmagyi, better known as ‘Fast Ed’, will host a fantastic show with inspiring demonstrations from talented chefs all weekend.

The Chocolate Show Piece Competition will take place on the Saturday, when Australia’s finest chocolatiers will astound as they create their own chocolate showpieces, judged by Adriano Zumbo and Dean Gibson.

Held on Sunday, July 8, the Chocolate Gateaux Competition will see chefs from all over Australia compete in this prestigious dessert competition for a trip to Belgium to train in the Callebaut Chocolate Academy.

Don’t forget to check out the chocolate pavilion, with its stalls displaying a divine range of patisseries, desserts, breads and truffles.

The live patisserie kitchen allows attendees to interact with skilled chefs and learn their tricks of the trade.
