ACADA & International Cake Show

The Brisbane Showgrounds became a cake gallery in May as the ACADA & International Cake Show Australia (ICSA) took place once again.

ICSA offers more than 90 free demonstrations, discounted hands-on classes with the world’s best cake and cookie artists, networking opportunities, discounted shopping and the opportunity to enter Australia’s largest cake decorating competition.

It is Australia’s only international standard cake, baking and sweet show where the top guns of the cookie, cake and dessert world show off their skills and share their talents with sweet-loving foodies.

The competition saw entries from amateur and professional bakers across 28 categories, including: children’s cakes, wedding cakes, cookies, movie-themed creations and more.

ACADA also hosts and operates the ACADA Australasian Cake & Cookie Oscar Awards every year. It’s designed to recognise and applaud the best of the very best within the industry and to promote the fantastic talent we have within Australia, globally.
