Wednesday, July 5, will see some of New South Wales’ best bakers head to Wollongong for the Baking Association of Australia’s Wollongong Baking Show.

Set to be held at Cafe V at Illawarra TAFE, the competition will consist of 31 classes in addition to the Champion Loaf of the Show – Champion Ribbon, Champion Cake/Pastry of the Show –  Champion Ribbon, Most Successful Bread Exhibitor, and Most Successful Cake & Pastry Exhibitor titles.

In 2025 William  Nicolau from Bakers Delight Mittagong took home the Perpetual Trophy, while Bakers Delight Bowral was awarded Most Successful Bread Exhibitor. Troy Hindmarch from Parfait Patisserie won the Champion Loaf of the Show award, and Damo Wright, also from Parfait Patisserie, took home the trophy for Champion Cake/Pastry of the Show. William Nickl from Gumnut Patisserie won the Most Successful Cake Exhibitor title.
