Two iconic brands are colliding for a Mother’s Day offering made in heaven: Tokyo Lamington and quirky Sydney cafe, Devon.
Offering the perfect picnic box or brunch in bed and inspired by each others menus, the two icons have created a full mash up.
“This collab has been a long time coming! Almost a year in the making due to our old mate COVID-19, but in time for Mother’s Day!” Tokyo Lamington’s Eddie Stewart said.
The special offering includes Dai Dai Meringue Lamington, Strawberry & Matcha Lamington, King Salmon Mentaiko Onigiri and Bacon & Egg Onigiri.
“For savoury, we are using two iconic flavour combos. Our signature dish Breakfast with the Sakumas featuring miso grilled salmon and furikake. The second is a breakfast staple of bacon and eggs in an onigiri but with a Japanese twist using kewpie mayo and curry salt,” Devon’s Zacharay Tan said.
The limited edition menu will be available from Tokyo Lamington and Devon’s Barangaroo and North Sydney cafes on May 7 and 8 for $28.
