The popular song Party Pie by The Wiggles and The Tree of Wisdom, has been voted in the top spot in this year’s Hottest Pie Hundred.
The competition, which called on pie lovers to cast their votes for their favourite pie-themed song, was run throughout January by Tasmanian brand National Pies.
National Pies chief executive officer Geraldine Tebbutt said the competition was a firm favourite with pie fans across the country.
“Our Hottest Pie Hundred competition and playlist seems to get more and more popular each year. Since it began a few years ago we’ve received thousands of entrants and we always look forward to seeing the votes come through for their favourite pie song,” she said.
The 2026 Hottest Pie Hundred playlist was unveiled on Spotify on January 23. In addition to Party Pie, Daddy Cool’s Cherry Pie came in second place, with Bob Dylan’s Country Pie voted third. In total in the 100 song playlist there were 11 songs about apple pie, six songs about cherry pie, and four different cutie pie tunes.
Ms Tebbutt said the playlist provided the the perfect soundtrack for beach picnics, camping and pool parties.
“We encourage everyone to have a listen,” she said.
The result built on the 2025 Hottest Pie Hundred competition, which saw Don Maclean’s American Pie voted in the top spot.
