Auspack Plus 2013 will give visitors from a broad range of baking niches a chance to see industry’s most innovative processing and filling machinery.

Auspack Plus 2013 event manager Luke Kasprzak said the show will provide professionals from the Australian baking industry with a complete range of solutions to enhance efficiency and boost profitability.

“There will be lots of areas of interest for the baking industry including food processing and packaging equipment, food preservation, inspection, x-ray equipment, filling, weighting, bagging, coding, marking, labelling, to name just few,” Luke said.

“Auspack Plus 2013 will be a source of the latest innovations, products and technology and will allow visitors to see, touch and experience working packaging and processing equipment, meet with industry experts and discuss individual production line requirements.”

Packaging and processing company Walls Machinery has exhibited at Auspack Plus since its inception 30-years ago.

“Walls Machinery has always found Auspack Plus beneficial to our business as both a supplier and also for the visitors to have an opportunity to see working packaging and processing equipment,” Walls Machinery general manager Rob Lawrence said.

Eriez Magnetics managing director Malcolm Davy said much of the equipment showcased also has use for a broad range of food industries.

“The Eriez Magnetics range includes vibratory feeders for controlled feed rates of dry granular materials and also food product such as potato chips, biscuits and confectionary,” Malcolm said.

“We also offer a range of magnetic separators and metal detectors to ensure ferrous contaminant is removed from products prior to packing.”

Auspack Plus will be held at the Sydney Showgrounds, at Sydney Olympic Park from May 7-10, 2013.
