A new bakery is set to launch in Perth this coming weekend. Teeter is the brainchild of Natasha Brownfield, who is well known in the bakery circles in WA.
Although Natasha has some impressive credentials and experience behind her, this will be the first time that she has a bakery of her own. She is no stranger to the location, a former gelato production facility—it’s where she used to complete pastries and cakes for private events and clients. Now, she has the space all to herself.
“Now that I’ve got access to a kitchen that I can be in whenever I want, I no longer have to be working around someone else’s hours and can do anything. There aren’t any parameters.
“I want Teeter to be quite fluid and just want to attract people that are enjoying the things that I’ve made,” Natasha told Broadsheet.
“Thank you everyone for an overwhelming response to our soft launching this week,” the new bakery wrote in a social media post.
The bakery will launch officially this coming Saturday, 11 February, and will only be open to the public every Saturday from then on, from 8am until sold out.
Teeter also offers online ordering for those looking for a treat during the week. The online ordering system opened last week and has already seen a lot of interest from customers, who will be able to place orders for pick up on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Cakes will take up the lion’s share of the online order options at Teeter.
However, the in-store options available on Saturdays will be varied, with customers able to choose from all sorts of delicious baked treats, including cakes, viennoiseries, and quiches Cold-brew coffee from Twin Peaks will also be available.
