O Bagel comes to Brisbane

After a very successful year on the Gold Coast, O Bagel is setting up a new shop in Brisbane.

When Nick Jang first decided that he wanted to open up a bagel shop, the intention was to create a New-York-esque experience, bringing the classic NYC-style bagel to Australia.

When O Bagel first opened its doors in Broadbeach this same time last year, Nick’s intention was always to spread further north.

The success of the Broadbeach store came quickly, with it now being considered one of the more popular establishments there.

After teasing that there would be a new store opening in December but not giving out the location, O Bagel’s he announcement of the new Brisbane store came as a pleasant surprise to some fans, but as a disappointment to those who were hoping to see the shop open south of the border.

The Brisbane store will stock the same products as its sister store in Broadbeach, with the bagels being baked fresh daily before being stuffed full of a variety of delicious sweet and savoury fillings.

O Bagel has always had a focus on its ingredients, and this is not set to change with the new opening. They will continue to stock the freshest ingredients, including their own house-cured salmon.

It’s not just bagels though, O Bagel Brisbane will also continue to dispense cold-brew coffee from Two Amigos out of Burleigh. Their more substantial sandwich options will also be available on the menu.

With renovations still underway at the new store on Brisbane CBD’s Elizabeth St, O Bagel Brisbane is set to open mid-December.
