Award-winning bakery, North End Bakehouse, has announced the opening of a second store at Mooroopna, just north of Melbounre.
The new store will be in the former Billy’s Bakehouse location, where North End Bakehouse owner Matt Aylett first began his apprenticeship back in 2006.
North End Bakehouse purchased Billy Bakehouse at the end of 2023 with an eye on expnding. The retail space underwent an extensive renovation before the doors opened.
Matt told the Shepparton Advisor that he and his wife, Kiah, are aiming to expand to more locations in the future.
North End Bakehouse has earned a name for itself in recent years after claiming a number of notable awards including Australia’s Best Vanilla Slice in 2023 and 2024; and Australia’s Best Hot Cross Buns in 2022 and 2024.
