Tasmanian Bakeries, the home of National Pies, has announced their crowd favourite Cheeseburger Pie will be returning to select Bunnings Warehouse Cafes across Australia.

First introduced in 2022, the Cheeseburger Pie became something of a culinary sensation, breaking records as National Pies’ best-selling limited release at Bunnings.

Tasmanian Bakeries chief executive officer Geraldine Tebbutt said the return of the Cheeseburger Pie to Bunnings had been a long time coming.

“We’ve always known the Cheeseburger Pie held a special place with our customers, and we’re thrilled to bring that magic back to Bunnings,” she said.

” When we first launched the Cheeseburger Pie in 2022, the response was truly tremendous. We’ve been flooded with requests to bring it back ever since, as fans simply couldn’t get enough of the way it combines two absolute classics – the traditional meat pie and the iconic cheeseburger.

“We felt the tome was finally right to relaunch this popular limited edition variety for those who missed out the first time and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Bunnings to revive this fan-favourite.”

The Cheeseburger Pie has been made from 100 per cent Australian beef, a dash of tomato ketchup, and American-style mustard. Then there’s the inclusion of dill pickle juice and a rich cheese sauce for that authentic cheeseburger tang.

The Cheeseburger Pie will be available at Bunnings Warehouse Cafes until sold out.
