MasterChef finalist Billy Law, also known for his food blog Table For Two, will join executive pastry chef Vincent Gadan at Sydney’s Patisse.
Billy will help create Patisse’s signature desserts and savoury delights that draw inspiration from traditional French pastry. He will draw on his Malaysian heritage to help influence the creation his product.
“Creating desserts has always been a particular passion of mine. I lavished in the dessert challenges on MasterChef and my biggest desire is to one day open my own dessert bar,” Billy was reported as saying.
In 2012 Billy also plans to publish his first cookbook Have You Eaten? through Hardie Grant.
“I’ve always dreamed about publishing a book but never thought it would become a reality. Year 2011 has been very kind to me and lots of things have changed in my life, and definitely for the better,” Billy said.
