Brisbane’s Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) celebrated its fifth anniversary and the launch of a fantasy-world exhibition with an elaborate cake in December.

Queensland premier Anna Bligh celebrated the anniversary and exhibition launch with a vibrant cake from Brisbane cake decorator CakeStar, inspired by GoMA’s exhibition, we miss you magic land!

A series of large-scale fantasy worlds, created from intricate layers of fluorescent coloured sugar, transformed the Children’s Art Centre as part of the ‘GoMA Turns 5’ anniversary celebration.
