Flour & Chocolate’s Morningside store has beaten a bevy of worthy Brisbane bakeries to claim top honours as Brisbane’s Best Bakery for 2019 in the U on Sunday Brisbane’s Best Awards.

The victory comes as no surprise to the patisserie’s northside fans. Since opening its second location in Northgate in January this year, Flour & Chocolate has seen customers lining up in droves to nab decadent tarts, eclairs, croissants, quiches and cakes.

Owners Lachlan and Kylie Scott said they were thrilled with the accolade and the support from their loyal clientele.

“A massive thank you to all that voted for us in The Courier-Mail’s search for Brisbane’s Favorite Bakery,” the couple wrote via Instagram.

“Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for the support and encouragement over the past seven years. We are all super excited and honored about this award, but also super proud of our wonderful staff. You’re all amazing!”
