Ferguson Plarre Go Digital

Ferguson Plarre has replaced their loyalty card program with a digital app. The introduction of the program is a direct response to feedback from customers who felt that loyalty card systems are outdated with cards often remaining unused. Fifty-nine per cent of Ferguson Plarre customers said they would be more likely to join a loyalty program that offered a digital app as opposed to, or in conjunction with, a card.

Customers who download the free app immediately earn a free coffee for doing so, and the points-based system captures all in-store purchases, and accumulates points that can be redeemed in store. Members receive 20 points for every dollar spent, and every sixth coffee or hot drink comes free. Club members also receive birthday rewards.

“We are really excited to be able to reward our customers in such an innovative way,” says GM Retail and CEO, Steve Plarre.

“We want our customers to feel appreciated and this is a great way for us to be able to do this, and communicate with them in a more direct and personal manner.”

The app allows users to access their rewards, view transactions, locate stores and scroll through Ferguson Plarre’s Instagram account.
