Victorian bakery chain, Ferguson Plarre, has announced the opening of two new stores.

The stores at Truganina – located approximately 2km west of Melbourne – and at Doncaster bring the number of Ferguson Plarre stores across Victoria to 82.

Truganina franchisees Varun and Sadhav Puri said they are excited to join the Ferguson Plarre team.

“We can’t wait to meet the locals of Truganina and start building our customer base. Opening this new store is a dream come true for us,” Varun said.

“We’re thrilled to channel our passion into our new store and we’re hoping to create a warm and inviting space for the local community.

Ferguson Plarre chief executive officer Steve Plarre said the uncle-nephew team of Varun and Sadhav would be great ambassadors for the brand.

“We’re looking forward to having Varun and Sadhav as part of our team and watching them hit the ground running,” Steve said.

“With a similar design to our Chadstone flagship [store], the Doncaster store is the perfect spot to meet friends for a sweet treat or one of our award-winning pies, pasties or sausage rolls.”

The Truganina store opened its doors on June 24, and the Doncaster store will open its doors on June 26.
