The team behind the Gold Coast’s Oh My Waffle dessert bar is continuing its dedicated product line, with a new store specialising in loaded-cookies coming soon to Brisbane.

Owners Jessican Hannagan and Courtney Molloy-Havill posted an announcement on their Oh My Waffle Instagram account with a photo of the pair posing outside a newly-leased shop.

“If you saw our recent poll we have some exciting news to share… We are opening a new store!! 👏🏻😃 We are opening new dessert bar serving loaded cookies and custom soft serve shop in Fortitude Valley Brisbane! 🍪🍦 give our new venture a follow @mrtreatau and tag a brissy mate who should come check it out! 😊”

Set to open at a date not yet disclosed, the Mr Treat Instagram page has been steadily dropping tantalising pictures of upcoming flavour combos.

“We have been working hard to come up with some delicious cookie recipes,” they wrote in a post.

Flavours so far have included Caramilk and white choc chip cookie stuffed with salted Caramilk ganache, Chunky chocolate chip cookie loaded with Reece’s choc chips, stuffed with peanut butter, Red Velvet and S’more cookies.

Owners say they are also working on some vegan flavour options.

The pair opened Oh My Waffle in Burleigh Heads in early 2018, the area’s first boutique dessert bar which serves—you guessed it—waffles with flavour combos limited only to your imagination.

Besides cookies, Mr Treat will have custom soft serve ice cream on the menu for all of your sweet tooth needs, with flavours like Strawberry Cheesecake and toppings that include cereal, fruit, Tiny Teddies and honey.
