Cinnabon set to open a new store in Parramatta

After a resoundingly successful start with its first store in Darling Square, Sydney, NSW, popular American bakery chain Cinnabon has announced that it will be opening a second store in Parramatta in Western Sydney.

The new franchise has been taken by the franchise owner Helen Fu, who says that the new store, which will be located in Westfield Parramatta, had seen strong demand.

“A lot of our customers are basically like ‘when are you coming out west?’, ‘come to Paramatta’,” Helen told Parra News.

“Parramatta is probably the second-largest hub after Sydney CBD, we’ve always [been] interested to expand out west, and we couldn’t find a more suitable position than Parramatta.”

The store is currently expected to open in early October and is anticipated to be the biggest Cinnabon in Australia.

“This store is probably the largest in Australia, all of the ones in Brisbane are small kiosks within other Westfields, and this one is approximately 51 square metres. It is fairly large, we’ve got our own little seating area with a feature wall as well that we’re currently designing and building. It’s really designed for those social media influencers to capture the best of what Cinnabon can offer,” Helen said.

The new Parramatta store will stock the same ‘classic’ Cinnabon staples (like the Classic Roll, Caramel PecanBon, and Chocobon), and it will also serve drinks.
