Burgen’s Gluten Free Soy-Lin bread has won the Best Allergy-Friendly Staple category at The Healthy Food Guide Awards on October 17, 2016.

The judges commented that Burgen wins with Gluten specialty loaf was “remarkably like regular bread” and was popular for its high fibre content.

Bfree Quinoa & Chia Seed Wraps with Teff & Flax Seeds was a finalist in the same category, as was Freedom Foods Active Balance Cereal (Buckwheat 7 Quinoa) and Liddells Lactose-Free Hi Calcium Skim Milk.

The products highlighted in The Healthy Food Guide Awards are all intended to augment those fundamentals that form the basis of a healthy diet – fresh fruit and vegetables. They showcase the healthiest packaged foods on supermarket shelves.
