The baking brains behind The Bread Social have just opened their latest venture – a retail store on Bay Street in Tweed Heads.
With a 200sq m site to work with, everything is baked and made on-site, expanding their range from their first location, The Farm at Byron Bay.
Bread Social baking legend Sam Saulwick says the street, which used to be the main attraction, was pretty plain before, but recently the council has put a lot of energy into revitalising it.
“The area was just screaming for something like this and a bunch of cafes and restaurants have opened up on the street now,” Sam says.
With their passion for organic, local produce, Tweed Heads residents and visitors have a new go-to bakery/café.
