Bakery World A Major Drawcard For Queensland’s Largest Food Industry Event

With more than 250 exhibitors, live cooking demonstrations, business seminars, industry- recognised competitions and master classes, Fine Food Queensland will showcase the best food and beverage ideas from around the world.

The trade-only event will feature a dedicated bakery section, Bakery World, which exhibition director Jon Perry said will be a major drawcard for the state’s bakers, pastry chefs, chocolatiers and bakery equipment manufacturers and suppliers.

β€œIt’s an ideal event for anyone involved in the bakery, retail and foodservice sectors, who are looking for new ideas and concepts to attract new customers to grow their business,” he said.

β€œThe Baking Industry Association will be holding a series of demonstrations throughout the show, which will certainly be a drawcard for many visitors.

“Award winning pastry chef and MasterChef guest judge Kirsten Tibballs is lined up to demonstrate innovative and modern Γ©clairs, which are currently the biggestΒ  pΓ’tisserie product sweeping Paris.

β€œThere are demonstrations focusing on catering dessert concepts and chocolate garnishes. Visitors will also be able to revisit the classics, such as lamingtons, mille feuille, pavlova and doughnuts. This demonstration will take a classic and re-model it into a current day pΓ’tisserie revolution.”

Several big name bakery exhibitors have already secured space at the trade show, including Allied Mills, Goodman Fielder, Bakers Maison, Pac Food, Ready Bake and Robot Coupe.

Fine Food Queensland will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 13-14, 2014. Registration is now open via www.finefoodqueensland.com.au
