Anthony Ogilvie is joining Allied Pinnacle as their first Head of Sustainability

Flour and bakery manufacturer Allied Pinnacle has announced Anthony Ogilvie as their first Head of Sustainability.

The move marks a significant step forward in the company’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy.

Anthony has previously worked with Goodman Fielder, Transurban, Mission Australia and ASX-listed companies like McPherson’s.

Allied Pinnacle chief executive officer David Pitt said Anthony is set to bring his practical and collaborative approach to the business.

“We’re proud to welcome Anthony to Allied Pinnacle and Champion. His expertise, values and global perspective align with our commitment to operating responsibly, engaging with our agricultural partners, and supporting a sustainable future for the food industry,” he said.

“We bake the future from flour and have done so for more than 100 years, and this appointment will allow us to continue to do that – strengthening our ESG capability, ensuring long-term resilience in our operations, and driving us to be better every day.

“Anthony will also serve as a key link to stakeholders partnering with us on sustainability, formalising how we engage on all things ESG.”

Anthony said he was drawn to working with Allied Pinnacle by its commitment to sustainability beyond compliance.

“Our responsibility is not only to nourish Australians today, but to help ensure the resilience and sustainability of our food systems tomorrow,” he said.

“By working collaboratively with farmers, suppliers and our teams, we can act as one to build the foundations to manage climate risk and make a meaningful impact.

In his role as Head of Sustainability, Anthony will focus on integrating sustainability across the business from grain to table. The role will ensure the company meets its obligations as a Group 1 reporting entity, while also creating long-term shared value for customers, employees and communities.
