Sprout Artisan Bakery invites guests to sip a free coffee (with every pastry purchase) and possibly score free bread for a year at its New Farm store’s grand opening.
Breaking into the James Street precinct via a popup shop, in addition to their famous Rocklea Markets stall, owners Rebecca Foley and Lutz Richter opened a permanent home on the corner of James and Harcourt Streets a few weeks ago (although the markets are still on!).
Sprout’s range of custard tarts, flaky croissants, bostocks, cardamom scrolls, savoury breakfast danishes and cinnamon buns are all available in the chic, industrial-inspired store, which has been welcomed with open arms by James Street shoppers.
Despite a quiet opening, Sprout is going to celebrate in style with its “official” grand opening on Saturday, June 26. From 7am, you can receive a free Reuben Hills coffee with any purchase and most importantly, potentially win free bread for a year!
Five lucky tickets will be baked into randomly-selected loaves of bread Willy Wonka-style, giving purchasers the chance to win.
The Sprout team pride themselves on sourcing sustainable, organic and local ingredients to limit their environmental footprint, using a closed loop recycling system with a local farm for food waste.
Sprout Artisan Bakery is open Tuesday-Saturday at James Street, and at the Rocklea Markets from 6am each Saturday.
