Pour On The Chocolate At Easter Time

TAFE teacher Maria Pellegrino will present a chocolate demonstration at next year’s Easter in the Fruit Bowl.

The Goulburn Ovens Institute and ISS Institute Fellowship award-winning cake maker and decorator has been involved in the baking industry for 33 years and has learnt from some of the world’s best. She will share her knowledge at the upcoming Baking Industry Association of Victoria event, to be held at Shepperton in February.

Working with world-winning champion pastry chefs from France, America, Ireland and Japan to enhance her career, she has attended numerous courses to develop her skills in pastry, chocolate, sugar and confectionery.

As part of her ISS Institute Fellowship scholarship, the baking and patisserie trainer visited Europe to research mould design and production methods for the Australian market.
