The 30th anniversary of the country’s leading packaging technology and machinery expo, Auspack, wrapped up in March after attracting more than 7000 people through the doors – making it the largest show on record.
Throughout the four days of the show, visitors poured through the doors, captivated by the quantity, range and innovations on show and gaining new suppliers and industry leads to keep their business growing.
Owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA), and sponsored by insignia and Matthews, organiser Luke Kasprzak said 385 exhibiting companies showcased more than 1000 brands plus the latest innovative processing and packaging machinery.
“It was an essential mix of international, national, local and APPMA member companies and we had 87 new exhibitors,” he said.
“The introduction of Packaging & Processing Week not only covered Auspack but also included a range of educational and social functions for visitors and exhibitors for the duration of the show.
“Face-to-face networking is invaluable and the level of optimism by both exhibitors and visitors was the highest it has been in years.”
