The Fair Work Ombudsman is reminding employers the minimum wage increase became effective July 1.
The new national minimum wage for a full-time adult is $17.29 an hour, or $656.90 a week.
Fair Work Ombudsman Natalie James said online tools can assist employers determine their applicable Modern Award, as well as classification and pay rates, including base pay rates, allowances, overtime and penalty rates.
The increase has been met with some dissapointment, with Restaurant and Catering Australia saying it fails to recognise those sectors already doing it tough.
