Patissier Adriano Zumbo will bring his iconic creations to Melbourne June 6-9 for the first annual Macaron Boot Camp. During the four-day course, held at Savour Chocolate and Patisserie School, students will learn how to create macarons from the “modern day Willy Wonka”.
Adriano, who trained under international heavyweight Pierre Hermé, will be joined in the kitchen by Savour pastry chef and former Australian Chocolate Master, Paul Kennedy. Together, they will pass on techniques required to master the Parisian treats, along with innovative flavour combinations and finishes.
Savour is run by Paul Kennedy and Kirsten Tibballs. Kirsten is the Australian ambassador for Callebaut and Cacao Barry Chocolate, a former member of the Australian Pastry Team and has been trained by the world’s leading pastry chefs and chocolatiers.
