Head Down Sauce Street to Pie Fest

Pie Fest is the final festival of Pie Time, a Southern Highland celebration of all things pies.

After a successful first year, the event is moving to its new home at the Bong Bong Racecourse, Kangaloon Road, Bowral held June 29-30. With over 8000 attending last year, the 2019 event is sure to attract pie lovers from all around Australia.

Pie connoisseurs will be able to taste, purchase and enjoy a pie or two while voting for their favourite in the People’s Choice Award. In between pie eating, local wines, beer, ciders, activities, cooking demonstrations, entertainment and family fun is on offer.

New innovations for the 2019 event will include the Head Down Sauce ‘Pie Bar’ for boutique bakers and a stroll down ‘Sauce Street’ for those tasty condiments.

With Destination Southern Highlands, which won gold at the 2018 Australian Tourism Awards, pulling out all the stops to make this Pie Time the best time for all.
