Australiaβs most anticipated and highly attended trade event for the food industry is returning to the countryβs culinary capital in September.
This year, Fine Food Australia will celebrate its 30th birthday with a more comprehensive and relevant Bakery World than ever before.
A strong contingent of bakeries and bakery suppliers are set to be represented, showcasing the latest products, equipment and ingredients. In addition, exciting competitions and show features are lined up to give visitors a different view into the day-to-day operations of the industry.
Baking highlights across the show will undoubtedly include the Official Great Aussie Pie Competition, a 25-year-old institution that promotes and celebrates Australiaβs much-loved food icon. The annual competition is open to all pie making professionals and attracts thousands of entries from bakers across the country.

The dedicated Bakery World is also the ideal place for bakery owners and operators, pastry chefs, trainers and apprentices to network and source new products, including bakery ingredients, pies and pastry products, cakes and biscuits and much more.
A wide range of bakery equipment will be showcased at Bakery World, including ovens, mixers, dividers, rounder and moulders, chillers and freezers, display cabinets and slicers.
Outside Bakery World, Fine Food Australia will showcase everything from specialty and bulk foods, beverages, cooking and hospitality equipment and machinery, coffee and emerging food trends.
There are also a host of educational master classes, demonstrations and competitions scheduled throughout the duration of the event, as well as the opportunity to build relationships, drive business and be generally inspired by Australiaβs the dynamic food and hospitality industry.
Fine Food Australia will be held from September 15-18 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
