Each year apprentice bakers and pastry cooks from all over Australia compete for the prestigious title in The Excellence in Baking

State Competitions dates are now available.

The State Finalists will be flown to compete at the Baking Industry Trade Show on the Gold Coast 2026. The official announcement of National Winners will be made at the Excellence in Baking Awards Night!

The South Australian Excellence in Baking bread round will be held at SA TAFE Regency Park Campus on November 25.
