Come September 23, Canberra will have its turn at the WorldSkills Australia Regional Competition.

The event runs bi-annually around the country and attracts hundreds of competitors across 30 Australian regions.

Two Retail Baking categories are included in the competition: Retail Baking – Pastry, and Retail Baking – Bread.

The hands-on competition recognises well-rounded skill sets and aims to ensure young people are equipped with the necessary expertise to run their own successful business.
