An employee in Michigan was fired after admitting the brownies bummer she had baked for a colleague’s farewell party were laced with laxatives. An unidentified employee tipped off managers, who questioned the alleged brownie tamperer, according to Buzzfeed News,

Initially, she denied the allegations, passing them off as a joke, however; when warmed the brownies would be sent to a lab for testing, she admitted she had added the laxatives, “because she didn’t like the temp employee that was leaving.”

No one ate the brownies, which saved the employee from police action, however; the company, MMI Engineered Solutions, opted to fire the woman after the incident.
