The Aug/Sep 2011 issue of Australian Baking Business made an impression at a magazine publishing award ceremony in November.

The front cover of the issue was named runner-up in the business-to-business category at the prestigious Excellence Awards in Sydney.

The awards were presented by Publishers Australia, a non-profit trade association that represents the leading business-to-business publishers in Australia.

The vibrant front cover features Sydney cake decorator Paris Cutler promoting her new Foxtel show Planet Cake.

Ms Cutler said she felt “especially honoured” to be interviewed for Australian Baking Business.

“This is the leading magazine in our industry, as not only is it a magazine of impeccable quality but it also features the most exceptional chefs, artisans and bakers in Australia,” Paris said.

“A testament to this is the amount of calls I had from the leaders in the industry about making the front cover. I felt very proud.”
