Modular design will be on show at Jet Technologies with the Ilpra Fill Seal R12/4 Tronic rotary filler and sealer. This high-productivity machine precisely fills denestable cups in up to 12 stations at a maximum speed of 9000, and can be customised to meet the needs of each individual end user.

Automation is another good way to implement efficient and flexible production. Robotic palletisers from Fibre King are already in use at companies such as Australian Garlic Bread Co, capable of multitasking and the ability to handle a number of different product types.

With multiple SKUs comes the need for flexible packaging print, and Limitronic in-line digital printers from Orora allow variable data to be printed directly to the pack without the need for labels. These have been deployed in locations around the world, boosting productivity and allowing manufacturers to reduce material costs, labour costs and turnaround times.
