Cobs Popcorn has joined forces with chef and patissier Adriano Zumbo to create two popcorn-inspired desserts: the Petite Popcorn Bucket and Popcorn Dessert Blowout.
“I’ve always loved popcorn, so when Cobs Popcorn approached me to collaborate on some desserts, I had a million ideas for popcorn-inspired recipes,” Adriano said.
The Petite Popcorn Bucket is a combination of raspberry gel, caramel vanilla crème fraiche mouse, chocolate caramel, and Cobs Popcorn – all assembled to look like a miniature popcorn bucket you’d get at the movies.
The Popcorn Dessert Blowout contains salted popcorn mousse, passionfruit crème, vanilla vinegar coconut meringue, with a popcorn rocher glaze.
To celebrate collaboration, Adriano and Cobs made recipe cards available to anyone who purchased a share pack online.
“His (Adriano’s) desserts just burst with popcorn flavour and are a feast for the eyes and stomach,” Popcorn co-founder Ravit Walys added.
