World’s first ‘chocolate orange’...

World’s first ‘chocolate orange’ inspired hotel room

Terry’s Chocolate Oranges are a legendary old school treat, especially at Christmas time. Now, for the real choc-orange fanatic, a hotel in France has created the world’s first ‘chocolate orange’ inspired hotel room.

Club Med’s brand new ski resort, La Rosière, located in Montvalezan, in southeastern France, has debuted the world’s first chocolate orange-themed hotel room in time for the holiday season, proving there really is something for everyone.

The room is decorated with the iconic orange, blue, and chocolatey brown decor – including the bed’s headboard that is made to look like chocolate orange slices. The room is also decorated for Christmas with stockings (personalised for guests and stuffed chockers with chocolate!), colourful lights, and a tree decorated with actual chocolate oranges as well.

The website says, “Your Instagram will never have looked so appetising, with a chocolate segment headboard, hand-crafted segment trees and, of course, views you won’t find anywhere else. You’ll have to stop yourself from eating the furniture – it just looks that good.”

Guests can also indulge in a special chocolate orange cocktail or hot chocolate, and a room service menu with chocolate orange-themed refreshments, including chocolate orange truffles. Even the toilet paper is chocolate orange scented!

La Rosiere is a picturesque ski resort known as ‘The Balcony of the Tarentaise ski’. Offering unforgettable panoramic views across a stunning mountain backdrop of the French Alps, it’s billed as “the perfect family ski holiday across ski slopes for all levels, snowboard lessons, winter sports, walks, hikes and a full schedule of incredible entertainment.”

If only we could travel!
