Coeliacs rejoice: Nodo announces South Brisbane store

Coeliacs in Brisbane can rejoice as Nodo announces it’s opening a store in South Brisbane.

The new store is moving in under the ABC building in South Brisbane, and will offer Nodo’s infamous doughnuts alongside supernatural shakes enhanced with superfoods, made-to-order breakfast and lunch dishes, healthy grab-and-go meals and snacks and specialty roasted coffee from 7am daily.

The new location will join Nodo’s existing Newstead, Camp Hill, and CBD stores providing naturally gluten free meals and desserts, for guilt-free indulgence from mid-November.

The outlet is known for its gluten free desserts, allowing those with gluten intolerances like Coeliac disease and gluten sensitivities (and those without intolerances who just love dessert!) to indulge in sweet treats that would normally be off limits.

Nodo’s philosophy is all about putting the fun back into wholesome foods, as evidenced by their range of delicious, visually spectacular foods with a healthy twist.

Launched by Kate Williams in 2014, Nodo (pronounced “no-dough”) aims to spread happiness through beautiful baked goods that combine artisan methods and naturally gluten free ingredients. Nodo is renowned for their gluten free, ‘baked not fried’ doughnuts and has grown into an institution amongst people with the very same healthy obsession for wholesome food.

The range isn’t limited to doughnuts , however, with a variety of seasonal dishes on the cafe menu including waffles, milk buns and burgers, with a broad selection of gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and dairy free options to cater to a variety of dietary requirements.

The bakery menu includes breads, such as a gluten free sourdough loaf, baked cheesecakes, cookies, muffins, brownies, slices, and Nodo’s famous doughnuts in a huge range of flavours such as lemon meringue, strawberry hazelnut, raspberry white chocolate, blueberry lemon cheesecake, beetroot blackout, pumpkin maple, and the Nodo Vovo (Nodo’s take on the Aussie classic Arnott’s Iced Vovo biscuit in doughnut form).
