New Centre For Specialist Foods Training

William Angliss Institute, a specialist centre for foods, tourism and hospitality training, is expanding its New South Wales operations with a new base in Surry Hills to operate as the Angliss Industry Training Centre.

The new premise in Surry Hills caters for customised industry training solutions and offers flexible delivery options.

“William Angliss Institute has always worked closely with industry and organisations to tailor our training to the needs of businesses,” William Angliss Institute CEO, Nicholas Hunt said.

“We have invested in the Sydney site to cater for the needs of our industry partners to be a one stop shop for delivery of our hospitality, tourism, retail, business, travel, management, and short courses.”

The training centre provides businesses in the foods, tourism and hospitality industries a blended approach to staff training including on-site or off-site, complemented with workbooks or online resources.

William Angliss Institute has operated industry-based training in workplaces across NSW since 2003. The new site has been recently acquired for its diversity, including nine theory classrooms, three commercial-standard training kitchens and a coffee academy.

“The ability to train service industry staff in an operational and classroom environment is something invaluable to our clients, and now with our new base in Surry Hills we can train larger groups and use our on-site facilities to ensure partners and students get the best experience possible,” William Angliss operations and training NSW/ACT manager, Naomi Crawford said.
